Texas A&M University supports the teaching and learning mission through the integration of centrally-funded/-supported technologies. These tools are available to all users within the Canvas learning management system (LMS). By leveraging these tools, faculty can reduce burdens for students as noted in the university’s Academic Roadmap. In addition to lower financial costs to students, they will have fewer external logins to manage and spend less time having to learn a significant number of different tools in addition to their coursework. For faculty and staff, the LMS website provides resources for centrally-supported tools. The LMS support teams and partners also offer various training and professional development sessions throughout the year.

Colleges and schools can request additional tools that are supported by the requestors and/or vendors. These tools may have additional costs. Any requests must proceed through the third-party tools request process. More information is available on the LMS website.
