WirisChemType is similar to Wiris MathType in that it provides Course Instructors the ability to work with chemical notation. As part of the Rich Content Editor in Canvas, the personalized toolbar contains common chemical symbols adapted to chemical notation needs.
Accessing Wiris ChemType in Rich Content Editor
To add a MathType Equation within Canvas:- Navigate to the Rich Content Editor that you would like to insert a ChemType Equation into.
- Click the plug icon in the top menu bar of the Rich Content Editor.
- Click View All.
- Select Insert a math equation – ChemType
Use the editor to insert the equation. Once finished, select OK.
