iClicker Changes for Fall 2026

For the Fall 2026 term, all current accounts must use their TAMU login to access iClicker. Simply navigate to iClicker and open the profile page, and change the email associated with the account to TAMU.EDU. Please note that aliases are not permitted. Additionally, the university will now cover iClicker as an enterprise, university-wide teaching and learning tool starting Fall 2026. **8/26 Update - when students register, they might see a notification about a trial period. The vendor has confirmed that there is no trial for TAMU students and will be implementing a fix on the evening of Sep. 1 to remove that language.**

Tool Description

iClicker supports active learning through real-time polling, quizzes, attendance tracking, and feedback. Students participate from their devices, and Canvas integration helps manage rosters, attendance, and grades.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why did Texas A&M University consolidate to a single iClicker institutional login?
Texas A&M University now provides iClicker as a centrally-funded and centrally-supported tool. To improve account management and access to the university license, all accounts will be consolidated under Texas A&M University. Users must associate their account with an official Texas A&M email address.
I currently use a personal or non-TAMU email address. What should I do?
Sign in using the email address currently associated with the account. If it uses a personal or non-TAMU email address, iClicker will prompt the user to update the profile with an official Texas A&M email address.
Will I lose my courses, classes, or polling data when I update my email address?
No. Updating the account email should not affect existing courses, classes, participation records, or polling data if account synchronization is completed correctly.
