Member management for course associate roles
is a new self-service feature for instructors to add or remove users at the section level for Lead TA, TA, Grader, Grade Submitter, and Designer roles. Two trainings are required for an individual to be added as one of the five course associate roles to a course section in Canvas: FERPA training (TrainTraq Course 11012) and Information Security Awareness training (TrainTraq Course 3001).
Please note that if an individual has been assigned to a course section via Compass by a Department Scheduler and does not have the two required TrainTraq trainings, the individual will not be removed from course sections ahead of the semester. However, if an individual has not successfully completed the trainings by February 5, 2021, they will be removed from the course section. Once trainings are complete, the individual will have access to the course section again.
