End of Semester Planning

November 17, 2020
Dear Course Instructors,

We have curated several resources to support you in your end-of-semester teaching and learning efforts. Thank you to the Exam Experience Committee led by Dr. Christian Brannstrom for compiling many of these resources.

Online Proctoring Solutions at a Glance

Course instructors should select an online proctoring solution that best meets assessment objectives.

Aggie Proctoring Center Launches!

The Aggie Proctoring Center has trained Aggie Proctors available for course instructors to use during final exams for Fall 2020. The Aggie Proctoring Center can proctor up to 290 students in a single exam session using a 1 to 40 proctor to student ratio.

Designing a High Stakes Assessment using the Learning Management System

Course instructors should use the learning management system (Canvas or eCampus), which requires student identity verification, to provide access to exam materials for students.

Academic Integrity is a Shared Responsibility

Course instructors and students each have responsibilities to ensure academic integrity during online proctored exams.

Encourage Students to Complete Course Evaluations

Course evaluations are now available.

Planned eCampus Outage

eCampus will be unavailable between 1 a.m – 5 a.m. (Central) Friday, November 20 for maintenance.

  • We continue to provide Blackboard data for known high enrollment exam dates and times so that they may continue to monitor eCampus in real time as we head in to final exams.

The LMS Teams are still working on Spring 2021 course shell release. Additional information will come from the Office for Academic Innovation when shells have been released.
